I am sure she was a blessing to see in person!Kimberlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07534550649815409116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4196618299958086714.post-35946950770131475692012-04-10T21:37:20.390-04:002012-04-10T21:37:20.390-04:00Wow Thank you!!!! I haven't gotten to her book yet, but it's in the stack waiting.
PS That's pretty cool you can cut and paste like that!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08361445689469164832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4196618299958086714.post-58840052321348280902012-04-10T21:16:20.988-04:002012-04-10T21:16:20.988-04:00What wise words, Abbie...Rest isn't passive an...What wise words, Abbie...Rest isn't passive and it isn't sleep. You really have to look for it. :) So true! And I love how you said that when we find a chance to be refreshed, we need to let our soul swim around in it.

Makes me think about Ann Voskamp's book, One Thousand Gifts. Here is a passage I love..."Time is a relentless river. It rages on, a respecter of no one. And this, this is the only way to slow time: When I fully enter time’s swift current, enter into the current moment with the weight of all my attention, I slow the torrent with the weight of me all here. I can slow the torrent by being all here. I only live the full life when I live fully in the moment. And when I’m always looking for the next glimpse of glory, I slow and enter. And time slows. Weigh down this moment in time with attention full, and the whole of time’s river slows, slows, slows."

:) I didn't type all of that out...had it highlighted in my Kindle app on my computer. Anyways! It goes with what you said. We need to pause and swim around in those moments of refreshing. :) So glad you got some time like that to swim around in today.

Blessings to you!
K :)Kimberlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07534550649815409116noreply@blogger.com
