31 Days ~ Fullness of Life on Edisto Beach

For five year now, The Nesting Place has issued a challenge:  pick one subject and write about it for all 31 days in October. Last year she had over 1,200 bloggers link up. To organize all these enthusiastic bloggers, she has provided nine categories to choose from. I'll be linking up under the house and home list.
I’m really excited to be participating this year and I’ve decided to blog about Edisto Beach and our new life here. The timing is perfect because I will be blogging through our first month in this new place. This move was quick and radical but we know it was the right choice for our little family. We wanted a life that was full in all the good ways.  Even if that life seemed to lacking in other ways.

Edisto Beach is one of the last family beach towns. Now that summer's over it’s an empty beach town.
No hustle and bustle.
 No zipping and zooming.
Just sea and sky.
And a few two year old melt downs. A few million boxes to unpack. Really hard water. And a washer/dryer combo that will only wash or only dry. So no washing a load of clothes while another load is drying. But enough about that!

This month will be about unpacking boxes, welcoming fall, surviving the longer commute, and boycotting Halloween.
But above all, this month is sure to be sandy.
Every day I'll add a link to a new blog post to the bottom of this page.
I hope you’ll join me as I learn to live life slow and full in this island  town.

PS If you’re just tuning in, about three weeks ago we jumped at a dream opportunity. We sold almost everything, packed up everything else and moved about an hour away from our home in Charleston, SC to Edisto Beach
