Failure. Complete Failure. Not much more to say. I was trying to make a cake using cake mix and canned pumpkin. But I didn't have all the right ingredients and I tried to make it up as I went. Well, it didn't work. I guess I'll try something else in a few days.
Moral of the story: Follow the recipe when baking.
