It's Kinda Like a Panty Raid (Mrs. Pate's Blogger Bra Drive)

Whew.  What a busy couple of days.  I haven’t blogged in forever (well since Saturday, but that’s how much I missed ya’ll.)

I have been busy and I have some pretty neat news.  Remember when I told you about the amazing idea Tiffany over at Mrs.Pate Writes had to link up bloggers from around the country and collect gently used bras to benefit Free the Girls?  Of course I wanted to make her blogger bra drive a huge success so I called my brother.  He owns Holy City Events and he is a great idea man.  I wasn’t disappointed.  He had an idea.  And he had some contacts. 

I want to cordially invite you to Ladies Night Bra Drive to benefit Mrs. Pate's Blogger Bra Drive with all donations going to Free the Girls.  So here’s the details.  The bra drive will be held at Midtown Bar and Grill which is on upper King in Charleston on Wednesday, July 25 from 4pm until 7pm.  Midtown has been so great in offering their space for us during their regular ladies night happy hour.   

Prizes:  The first 50 ladies with a bra donation will receive a thank you bag filled with goodies.  We will also be raffling off door prizes throughout the night. You can “buy” a raffle ticket with a bra or a dollar.  I’ve been collecting gifts for these prizes from local businesses and I’m excited about the response so far.  If you have a prize (big or little) you would like to donate please let me know.  I would also love to giveaway coupon codes for Etsy shops in the “thank you” bag.  Please let me or Tiffany (Mrs. Pate Writes) know how you can help.
