My life has finally calmed down enough to join a ladies Bible study. Every Thursday morning, I will drop my children off in the nursery, purchase a latte in the church bookstore, and spend two hours speaking to other adults and using complete sentences.
Oh, and learning more about the Bible. That’s the real reason I’m going. Really!
We started last week and while I was talking and listening and sharing with the other moms, I realized I needed to add Bible study into Ty’s routine.
It’s always been the plan to raise children who know the Lord.
Children that know His Voice.Children that know His Word.
But that is only done ON PURPOSE so the timing of this month’s Tommy Nelson book review is nothing short of divine.
Jesus and Me Bible Storybook by bestselling author Stephen Elkins and beautifully illustrated by Claudine Gevry is full of stories about Jesus. It is designed to teach children about the amazing love of the Savior. The storybook even includes short devotionals, just for preschoolers.
Right now we sing and pray before bed, but we will be adding a short devotional time using the Jesus and Me Bible Storybook.

I'm a Tommy Mommy. This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review. Do you want to be a Tommy Mommy, too? Find out how here.
PS There is grace, so much grace! If you don’t have a toddler, you can still start today and take steps to raise children who know the Lord.
